Dr. Thomas L. Stone is a board certified maxillofacial surgeon who specializes in oral, maxillofacial, facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his dental degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He successfully completed his general surgery internship and residency training in Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals program in Dallas, Texas. Dr, Stone then accepted a cosmetic surgery fellowship at Willowbend Cosmetic Surgery Center affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Stone is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Medical Association, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Colorado Medical and Dental Associations. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Stone has contributed to many medical journals and textbooks as an author. His article, “The Four Dimensional Face-Lift”, was recently voted The Best Scientific Paper submitted to The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery for 2001. The award was recently presented at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery meeting in Fort Meyers, Florida. This is a national award that presenters describe as the most significant contribution to cosmetic surgery in recent years. Dr. Stone lectures and teaches nationally on advanced facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Stone practices in Englewood, Colorado, performing all aspects of oral, maxillofacial, facial plastic and reconstructive procedures including The Four Dimensional Face-Lift, The Invisible Incision Midface-Lift, and cosmetic laser skin resurfacing. In addition to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Stone’s interests include reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws including placement of jaw implants (dental implants) to replace teeth that have been avulsed or removed, corrective jaw surgery, and removal of wisdom teeth. Dr. Stone maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at Swedish Medical Center, St. Anthony’s Central hospital, Rose Medical Center, and Sky Ridge Medical Center.

Dr. Stone’s wife, Kimberly, has recently joined him in practice at Colorado Surgical Arts. She is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology.
